Making Ground Battles more Interesting.

Its just a small suggestion, but it could make ground battles more
interesting, since its mostly swooping and flying...

Toggle Dash-

When your feet are firmly on the ground and you lock on to a
target your character should dash instead. You can still swoop
at ground level if flying is toggled on.

Running up Walls/Jumping off Walls.-

If "Dashing". Then players could have the ability to run up walls.,
While running up a wall for like 2-3 seconds your player model
automatically performs wall jump. (You know how when they fly
into walls and press their knee's hard against the wall to "Frog Jump"
really far?, You'll mostly see this in Dragon Ball where gokou doesn't
know how to fly yet, but hese done it in DBZ). Also the Idea about
them jumping off the wall automatically is necessary, cause well,
The Sky is a Texture, and it would look stupid seeing gokoug
running on the sky.

I kinda like the idea, it might give people a reason to stay on the ground once in awhile and could add a little flair to ground combat as right now stayin on the ground makes you too much of a target and really friggin slow

Dont know about you but im running pretty damn fast on the ground with turbo on, but yea, they need to add in some things for the "future" versions where the ground battles are more spiced up!

you only run as fast as you fly with turbo on (i believe) and the turbo speed aint nothin compared to the swoop speed. But maybe im wrong

it's not easy to build in this thingy with the ground ...
btw ...lok in B1.2 outline ... melee in B1.2 will be completly different ... you'll see

about the wallwalking ...
that sucks in HL, because you can't cange the looking angle to match with your ground ... just play NS and look yourself how it looks like

walljumping ...
will be in Beta1.2 ... read the outline
it's just not decided how they'll work, yet

I really do beleive that it can be done, Maybe Natural Selection
has the wrong idea. But I know it can be done, for one you got
the cl_pitchup/down command that can allow you to go upside
down or side ways (other players can see this too). But it might
not look all that great in-game if you try to do it manually, it'd
look kinda lame but if you think about that cl_pitchup/down cmd
im pretty sure the team can come up with something spicey.

By the Way, I think the Opera had wall running... or maybe im
confused with another game/mod. I know its not AHL though.

Maybe they can make it so that if your on ground and you press swoop, you'd dash instead of fly.

It can be done and BTW in NS 2.0 aliens running on walls have their feet on the wall ...

The dash idea is good yea and walljumping will be added im sure ... 1.2 will pwn :D

I agree wall "walking" would kinda suck unless they have tilt view where if your upside down then so should your screen be, this way players will have to practice it.
