Major Server Problem - Help Please -

I'm new to ESF/EVM, but i've been experimenting with creating my online servers.

I'll have people on my server joining, then say a person dies, they'll respawn and be able to ascend to any level, and have insane powerlevels.

I don't understand why this is happening.

Any help?

ok this isnt a server problem
by default a server when created will run with mp_plcatchup 1
basicly this means that ur server takes the pl average and when someone dies, brings that person closer to that average
to turn it off, u simply type mp_plcatchup 0 in ur console and that will keep them from gaining experience after death

all u need to do to fix that problem is go into my computer=>Local Harddrive=>program files=>steam=>steamapps=>userid(usually ur steam login)=>half-life=>ESF. Once ur in that folder, open the server.cfg using notepad and near the bottom type in "mp_plcatchup 0" without quotes. Then save the file and restart your server, or change the map.
