Obviously Packard bell is more powerful, but what about the build quality?

So same price for me. My question is, should I be worried about buying Packard Bell instead of Lenovo, are they reliable? The cooling system? how about the product's life?

I have good experience with Lenovo and I thought to myself how wicked it will be to find a good Thinkpad Edge series laptop in my price range.

But maybe im wrong? Maybe Packard bell are great and I should try them even though I don't have any experience with them?

it just beats me in the head that PB have the more advanced hardware.
Should I get the Packard bell? its more powerful after all.

Note: laptop is for gaming. Why laptop? because my parents want a family laptop and not a desktop, and I want to game.

Go with Packard Bell. Whatever the difference may be in quality, it will be hard to notice for an average user.

Read a lot of reviews for each of the laptops for any major issues.

With a mini-search on Google, I found some gaming laptops that you may like (prices ~ that Lenovo):

Laptop MSI FX700-005XEU
It have a nice i5 460M processor at 2.53GHz, 4GB RAM DDR3 1066MHz, GeForce GT 425M and a 640 GB SATA HDD.

Acer Aspire 5741G-433G50Mn
A i5 430M processor at 2.26GHz, 3GB RAM DDR3 1066MHz, Geforce GT 320M and a 500 GB SATA HDD. You may think that 3GB RAM is not enough, but you can upgrade it. And the RAM and CPU can be overclocked too.

Acer Aspire 5750G-2434G50Mnkk
A 2430M CPU at 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM DDR3 1066MHz, Geforce GT 520M and a 500GB SATA HDD.

That's it for now. If you got other questions, don't hesitate :)

Good luck finding your laptop.

I shudder at the very name Packard Bell. Those things once gave me nightmares. I would stay away. Far, far away.

The Leveno doesnt sound too bad. But the Asus definitely has a the best bang for buck it seems. Plus Asus is a trustworthy name.
I would choose the Asus without even a second thought. It has Geforce GT 540 for graphics, and twice as much memory. I say its a no brainer.

Whats the price difference on these?

well i bought it. its 3850 shekels after a deep market research - its the cheapest I could find. 1 dollar is 3.5 shekels so around... 1130$, but that doesn't include tax and ****. I believe its much cheaper some place else.
