He said "We'll find an exit after we defeat you" meaning he planned to fight inside Buu. It was a complete change of plans when Vegeta took out Fat Buu, which made it so that they had to escape without fighting. Makes you believe Goku didn't plan on Vegeta's "ace" when he said that.
