This really sucks. I have original cd-key . I always played esf on won but now i need to switch to steam . but when i want to use my cd key its says that its already used. and now i cant play esf anymore. that ****ing sucks. Does somebody now what i can do? :\

Contact Steam, I'm sure they can handle it. This seems to be a growing problem, since piracy is becoming a way of life.

no its not possible. a guy i know gave me cd key because he doenst play anymore. but you need to take pictures and ****. and he doesnt have all those things anymore
so am ****ed

If this guy who gave you a cd key, doesn't play anymore, then it should work... right?

If you have an actual cdrom copy of half-life, then contacting Steam is the only next step in fixing your problem.

This isn't a problem
you have a illegal key since you didn't buy your own key
only thing you can do is order half-life
and it's about 10/15 euro in the netherlands

no i dont have a illegal key. I played esf for 2 years or something . why do you think i have illegal key? do you think i jioned here i march 2003 and be on this forum for a year and dont even play the game that will be really stupid

Do you actually have a cdrom copy of Half Life?

The case would include a cdkey... therefore the act and consequence of you "needing" a cdkey would already be null and void.

but we can't fix it for you sorry
the only thing that can help you is buy your own version
