Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Help

Does anyone know how to fade text in Flash? I've been trying for the intro to the movie I'm making

Yes, this is what you do. To fade text, make, or type the text that you want then select the text, make sure there is a blue box around it and right click and make it a symbol, the symbol should be a movie clip then with that done, after it is a movie clip click on it again and then at the bottom the properties should be a drop down box that says colordropdownmenu) select alpha make it 0 then about 5 frames out, make a key frame, and then select the text, whereever it is, and make the alpha 100% then on the first frame put a motion tween on it, now the frames should be blue and it should work befor eyour very eyes
