I'm looking for a good 160GB to 200GB External HDD with the price range of 20 to 40 euro (25 to 50 dollars). Anyone that can pin point me to a name so I can look it up and buy it online? This is generally mostly for my dad so he can save up his files.

I'm also looking for some RAM to put in this PC. It's only 512MB Ram, which really needs an upgrade. Motherboard model? It's a ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 :

I'd prefer kingston as memory, and also not too expensive!

Thanks!

I don't need 500GB though ^_^, 160 to 200 is more then enough.

Your motherboard supports DDR2-667. Have a look here

Scroll down and the next page for kingston.

I also recommend you to buy from that shop, Computer parts are very cheap there.
Klantenservice is ook heel goed

Extern HDD's. There is one for 49 euros but its not in stock anymore.

I'd take the "Western Digital Elements Desktop 640 GB" if I were you. It's cheaper and 640gb, not only for your dad but also your porn movies :fight:

I agree, larger hard drives can be a very good bang for the buck these days, especially around
the 500 gb mark.

I know this is a bit more then you want to spend but it seems to be a pretty good deal, imo. Also I like the adapter for this ext drive. ie just one prong vs multiple prongs, one pronged adapters just seem more solid.

should still work, higher speed ram is usually backward compatible with lower speed motherboards, it just won't run at ddr2 800 speeds.

Thanks all, my dad bought a 500GIG one and 2x 1gig Kingston Memory Sticks. The PC is much much faster now ^_^. Though I'm a bit disappointed with the processor cooler I bought. They said it was really silent, but I don't find it "that" silent.

Skyrider, The best way to have a "Silent" cooler for your processor is to either buy the new fans that are out you can find them at http://www.pricewatch.com or you can buy water cooled systems for your case should only run for the water-cooled configuration at most $150 US. with the new fans it would cost $10-25 US.
