Looking for a good remote software

Anyone knows a good remote software that works really fast and is very stable? I really need to find a good one, which is of course not windows remote . Can be both freeware or shareware.

vnc <- gui, platform independent
subseven <- "Trojan", windows only
back orifice 200 <- "Trojan", windows only

"trojan" = remote software, but it could be used illegaly as a trojan

Do you have any more known ones? So far, the one you gave me (VNC) is the only one that looks of something I'm looking for. I'm not going to use SSH, subseen or trojan related software. I want an official remote software, such as UltraVNC, RealVNC and PC Remote Control.
