My Saab bit the dust...
I am looking for a USED car with the following:

a) MUST be 5 Speed/6 Speed Manual
b) Would be nice if it was turbo... doesn't have to be
c) Reliable... I am looking for a low-maintenance Japanese car
d) Decent power/torque
e) MUST be either Sedan or Coupe/Coupe Hatchback... I hate SUVs and trucks
f) I have a budget of around $6,000

Basically I am looking for a relatively cheap reliable performance car...

I wanted a Saab 9-3 Turbocharged Viggen... but parents say "No more Saabs"

I've looked at:
The Mazda Rx7... but that is a rotor engine = bad
2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R

Any suggestions?

That $6,000 could go for a good down payment on a new car. :p

You could be like me and get a Lancer. :p

Yeah.. or.. you know.. you could support your native economy and just buy American. :p
Foreign car companies have many factories in the United States and buy more American goods to make the car on average than Chrysler, GM, or Ford.

Money going to American workers is probably better than going to GM/Ford/Chrysler, in my opinion.

Don't lump ford into shameful GM/Chrysler

I would go subie. quick and probably one of the best AWD systems for a car.

I'll give credit where credit's due. That's very true, optional. However, American car companies have their headquarters and a very large majority of workers in America. I'd rather help out the American car company than a foreign.

Not to mention, the **** that the Big 3 have brought out this year (GM especially), looks more impressive than their foreign counterparts.
