Live Action Dragonball Z Movie: In the Making

So, apparently 20th Century Fox is finally going to make a live action Dragonball Z movie. Funny thing is, they plan to complete it within one year, with $100,000,000+ and a bunch of b-list actors. Bomber? We'll see.

100 Million? That's quite a lot of money. Then again, special effects costs quite a lot of money to do so. Heck, I hope this Dragonball Z movie will be good. And with all the special effects I've seen in movies laetly, I believe this movie will turn out good.

I think the only way this would be any good, is if they started with DB, instead of Z, also it would have to be Japanese made, America has displayed time and time again, it's inability to do anything to the Dragonball franchise other than piss all over it.

However!, as a rabid Transformers fan, I walked into the movies expecting an abomination, but walked out satisfied (though I had to try to forget everything I knew about TF)

So as a fan of Dbz that prefers the Japanese version, I have extremely low expectations for this film.

I think it will suck.

I hope I'm wrong.

Wow, finally. Lord knows how many years since they got the rights to do it, and finally we get confirmation that they're going to really do it.

Hmm...I seriously hope if it's done by the matrix guys that the fights don't look like the Agent Smith vs. Neo fight at the end of Revolutions, cause that was a bit clumsy-looking. I'm wondering about the actors, the musical score, and seriously hoping they keep the sound effects from the show.

Now, if you had taken the trouble to actually read what I wrote, you would come to the realization that I wasn't completely negative, and was even a little hopeful.

But no, I can see how it's easier to just stick to your stale little routine than actually reading what I have to say.
Personally, I think being cynical is preferable to being a complete douche.

Meh I just know the last 20 times i heard similar news it was allways a fake.

Besides i stopped caring about DBZ long ago. If it comes out ima watch it. If it aint good i wont finish watching it. And i dont care if i have to leave in the middle of the movie to do it ^^

Like I said before, there's no way the effects could be well done, unless the entire movie was computer generated. I just can't picture a Live Action DBZ movie.
