whenever I try to start ESF this screen pops up

If you have sven coop 3.0 installed you get that error... sven 3.0 uses a different and newer version of fmod then esf does and esf wont run with it.

aw damnit, so theres no possible way to have those 2 mods installed?

go to SvenCoops site and look for either an FMod fix or an FMod switch... Download it and follow the instructions given there and you'll be able to play both.
