I have checked the stickies and the question I have can't really be answered by using them.

I know how to decompile, animate, import, edit, compile, skin(attach skins, etc), but I don't understand how to edit an ESF skeleton + attach adjustments to the original skeleton and then compile.

I'm currently editing one particular animation on Vegeta's skeleton - I have clicked 'import' -> Half-Life SMD -> ref_charge_finalflash.smd, made changes to the frames, but what I need to know now is how to reattach this animation sequence to the vegeta.smd. Just as a guess I tried exporting as vegeta.smd and then compiling, which didn't work. I'm fairly lost here, so if anyone could point me in the right direction it'd be appreciated.

you have to replace it with ref_charge_finalflash.smd as a sequence then compile.

vegeta.smd is the mesh. (reference)
