Well.... Not anymore!!!

I had to start a new model again because my brother crashed my computer
and i had to format it!!!

BUT i have been working realy hard today! And as i promised i have got the head finished!!

Can you guys have a look if the pollycount isn't too much?
And can you tell me what the max is for a head?

Yeah!!!! an update. Grrrreat!!! and i'm not a modeller but i think the pollycount is fine.

thanks!!! i'm making the torso now!! But i have a question.. how do i have to make his sword??
Sometime trunks has it in his hands and someting in that other thingy(don't know how to say it in english)

euhm....the hair is attatched to his hat :|... i mean...he has bangs...not a wave of hair that magically blends into his hat...sort that out and its good...oh, and more polies on the face= more detail= skinners love you :)

The whole body should have less than about 2000 triangles for the model to run smoothly.

Well the hat doesnt have a lip on the ref pic. to be honest i dont think it would look good with one either. Thats a job for the skinners i think.

nono that isnt the problem, the problem is tht from the side, half his face is covered by what is eectively, 1 big curtain, not a bang, like it should be

Why add more detial on his face?? the real link hasn't it either...
You could only see his nose stick out. anything else was flat.
I'm making trying to make it exacly as the real model.

coming along nicely... a few errors here and there, but nothing too major yet.
just wondering, do you want the refs i used to make mine? there pictures straight from ocarina of time, in all views i think.

As you can see in the first pic i used a emulator to make refs
(don'y worry i got the real game on n64 too :smile: )
So i already got them straight from ocarina of time.

But yeah can you give me those pics. just to look if they are better?

Hey calm down man!! i'm doing the best i can!!!
i've got his neck ready didn't do much today.
And can anyone tell me where i have to put the sword!!!!!
I don't know where to put:
-in his arm.
-in his thingy on his back (don't know how to say it in english)
-or somewhere else!!!

Oh and solidus do you have voices for a soundpack for link too?

create the sword as a sepperate model altogether, it will work better when you compile it, (when i say sepperate model, i mean, model on his scabbard, and then when the whole model is done, model the sword aftward).
