LightWave 3D.

Hi, i just got myself a version of lightwave 3D 8.0 and i have been going through some tutorials but i had some problems. i took a photo of someone from a webcam and saved it as a jpg file. i tried loading it up as a backdrop but the image wasnt listed as an image file. anyone have an explanation for me?

really i should just point to the sticky's but i dont think this is explained in them, so id like to leave this open until its resolved, and if you would like to edit your tutorial slightly eclipse, that might help with these problems

i managed to load up a backdrop but i needed to save my file as a

".VGA " file. just letting you know
