With all these "unfortunate errors" the LHC has I can't stop thinking about a little causality hypothesis I read somewhere. It basically said that any event leading to the destruction of the universe would be prevented by a reverse causality wave manifesting itself in very unlikely events happening and thus stopping the destruction before it occurs.

Weird that the LHC goes poof again :p

Oh c'mon....bread?
That hilarious.
And no, it's not going to destroy the world. The end of the world comes in 2012, remember? :p

I'm totally superstitious, so I'm willing to believe that. XD

Damn those French and their bread. If they never invented it, the LHC would still be up and running. I say we exterminate every last French person from the face of this planet. Who's with me?!!

You needn't worry, my friend. Croissants are originally from Austria. So we are safe.

If bread can hurt it this much, I would hate to see an earthquake or Some guy take a dump on it or something...

Well considering french bread in a normal computer would likely not go over too well...

Why not? Get some french bread loafs, put some cheese and ham on top of it. Place it delicately on top of your GPU, and start 3DMark Vantage. Wait for 15 minutes, and there you go, a grilled Ham/Cheese sandwich or Croque-Monsieur, whatever you Americans call it.

Do it all the time, myself.
