Oh nooooo, was my reaction as well, it's BS that he's dead.

Wikipedia says so, that's the first step.

Oh wow, I reacted the exact same way as you when I read the thread title.

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen, a phenomenal actor.

like I said on the other sites I saw this on, it better be some kind of horrible joke.

I'd literally watch anything this guy was in.

With Mel Brooks and him gone, there's no hope for the comedy genre...

There's plenty of great comedians... Louis C.K., Dave Chapelle, Tracy Morgan, Tina Fey, Daniel Tosh, and anyone who has ever worked at The Daily Show.

None of the above come close to Leslie Nielson, he was the god of modern slapstick comedy. An imporant person in modern comedy has been lost, sadly..

He was like the second coming of the three stooges, he defined comedy for an entire generation.

This calls for a movie marathon of all his films as a good bye.

He was a legend in comedy and will be missed.

I agree with The Three Stooges being the best comedy act of all time.

Yeah, my dad loves em. You know when someone says it's been done before, and then say "Well it's always been done before"

Nobody had done what these guys did before...they're that rare, once in a blue moon thing, called "The Originals"

Someone needs to invent a time machine, and give them the immortality Syrum, also, give it to Leslie, then they can team up, and duo a quartet together. Three & half stooges. LOL.

Of course, the replacement was never as funny; ironic considering he was the actual brother of the two. Did you know that one of them actually shot the other in the foot, hence why that parody happened in that one episode? They had all the stooge facts on like...AMC, every Christmas or so they do a stooge marathon, 24 hours, straight stooge, nothing else.

Oh dude, they also made fun of Hitler, years before he was killed. That takes BALLS, I've got to say, considering Hitlers reputation and his influence. I mean you can just watch almost any comedy film; something will happen, and you can say "Stooge!"

I saw this on the news a day or two ago, and really, it sucks. I don't think there's a movie he plays in that isn't amazing. He will surely be missed.

I have enjoyed so many of his movies, from Forbidden Planet to Airplane. God rest your soul man, and thanks for all the laughs!

I choose to celebrate his contributions to my years of laughs, rather than be sad at his passing. He will be missed, but I will also fondly remember.
