Awesome, Not so much time spent on sleeping!
Now it's just a matter of time til we get no sleep if we don't want to and still stay refreshed.

I'm an insomniac, so I'm sure I'd get some usage out of this, but you'd be fully rested in 2 or 3 hours. That....gives you a lot of free time.

Let's plot a masterplan to destroy this evil machine. I don't want to work more.

Check this out.

If you'd sleep 8 hours every day for an year, the time you've lost in that sleeping is : 2 888 Hours.. Pretty annoying when thinking afterwards.

Im with Ready.

the brain may get rested but the brain is not the body. Its like saying as long as you have fuel in a car you can drive even if you have 4 flats.

If we can manage to get the brain rested, the body will be just fine.

How hard is it to just go, "Ok, I'm sleeping"

It sets the brain to the state which it is in 80% of normal sleep time. What if those other 20% of not so deep sleep are important for something?

Then we'll know by the time this is mass produced, if it ever is.

dunno imo its stupid in some way, i like to sleep for 8 hours (or longer or lil shorter) just cuz u can have some time for yourself peacefully even tho you don't really notice.

second, i'd like to sleep with my girlfriend, just in eachother arms for hours, i know this might sound a lil ***, but just layin for 2 hours is...dunno just sounds way to short.

well... although the brain could be fully recovered within a few hours, i know for sure that the rest of my body needs a lot more rest than that.

I dont know about you guys but i LOVE sleeping.

Just laying down wasting time, completely rested and relaxed. Why shorten it?

I love just sitting in one place with my eyes closed listening to the ambiance around me, not giving a **** about anything besides relaxing.

I don't sleep well any more so I'd guess I'd get some use out of this but I also agree with ready and the fact that there must be some kind of side effect to using this

It almost sounds a bit too good to be true if you get my meaning
