Le cooking thread!

Well I'm bored so why not start a thread?

Who on this board can cook? Do you cook for yourselves or others? What's the best thing you can cook
and what are your favourite ingredients?

I cook pretty often, either for me or friends. Most of the time it's some pasta variation with sauce (I can make an awesome cheese sauce).
But my pizza is also awesome. Well I'm awesome, so what's more to say?

I can prepare some food if it's not too complicated.

Any piece of meat, I can prepare I guess. As long as it's nothing more complex than throwing it in a pan and flipping it once in a while.

And I can prepare some vegetables. I'm crazy with a knife.

I can do pretty well. Give me a recipe and I'll make it shine. But my all time bests are a home made chicken noodle soup with awesome noodles and my family's green chili recipe that goes awesome with homemade flatbread

I can't cook anything complex, only simple stuff

Cooking is never about making complex things. A good cook makes dishes as simple as possible. As long as you use good ingredients that go together and keep it simple any dish will usually be good.

Anyway I'm a rather decent cook.

I make a badass steak marinade....I can cook too, but usually when i do it consists of Tuna/Hamburger Helper, Rice/Pasta Roni, and vegetables. I also worked at a pizza place for a year and a half, so i can make pizza's/calzones as well lol

I can cook pretty well even though I'm usually too lazy to cook ...

I can make pretty much everything that stems from the dutch kitchen.
I can do chinese/japanese too, and well all the regular crap.

It's one of my unused talents!
and if I can't make it I just need a quick glance at the cooking book and I'll be fine

Can make chinese, japanese, indian and american food in addition to my country's, as well as many others - but these i am best at..

I can cook, I just don't know that many recipes. I'd much rather bake pie, cakes and the like. Nothing better than a good apple pie, or cherry pie or...I'm gonna bake me a pie now.
