Okay, I was checking out some vids.. and I came across a machinima series like "Red vs Blue". Although, RvB has its' moments I think it sux balls when compared to "L33t World".. and ontop of that is FREE.

Or.. Maybe I haven't seen the right episodes so maybe I wrong.. but I DONT THINK SO>~~

Which one do you think is better?

I just saw part of episode 2 and, to me, it is exactly like Red vs. Blue, except it's CS: Source, it isn't funny and they're both Blue.

I love Machinima.com

I love machinima in general. It's so refreshing to see acted skits done properly instead of the pants-on-head-retarded GMod videos that clutter youtube.

I've seen a few L33t World's, haven't caugh the whole series yet. I like the "Player" who is the generic L33t speak noob.

Personally, I think HL2 Machinima is typically the best made. All the SDK tools used make it so powerful and simple to use. My favorite Machinima series' are "Civil Protection" and "Freeman's Mind".

Well, okay, Freeman's mind is technically HL1 Machinima, and has little to do along the lines of scripting scenes, as it's just the maker walking through HL1's early levels while speaking Gordon Freeman's thoughts as an obviously genius but utterly neurotic individual.

Civil Protection impresses me with it's smoothness of playback despite including scenes like a dozen fast zombies knocking about 50 chairs around a room while they rampage. Plus, it's obvious there were a lot of custom gesture animations used.

A favorite part is when Dave tries to communicate with a Strider by whistling the "CLose Encounters of the 3rd Kind" theme, which doesn't appear to have any reaction from the towering synth until Mike tries walking away, at which point, Dave whistles the first three notes of the theme, the last two being taken over by the strider who bellows them with it's horn-like vocalizations ("Whoo-WHOOOOO") and suddenly flexes it's massive left leg and uses it to punt Mike across 100 yards of city street.

I liked l337 world, but it is very much like RvB. A little different humor though it's more based on these guy ACTUALLY being gamers and not different color Master Chief's. RvB gave me some good laughs early on, I have no idea what it's like now. I remember when they transitioned to Halo 2 and it was pretty funny/awesome, I wonder if they did the same for Halo 3.
