I started this model Sunday night I believe, and its getting there, just have some polys to cut and then I will start the always fun skinning process.....The model is at 1824 tris, which is 24 tris over my limit, wont be hard to cut those...



Credits go to Darksun for the drawn kuririn references.

I made a krillin model like 2 years ago and released it...at the time I thought "wow look at this ****, I really outdid myself"...well, now that I look back on it..... wtf?



Just posting for a comparison, kinda funny imo...

uuh looks great so far exept that he looks a bit chubby in that pic.

Looks pretty good so far, make the belt wider, and suck in that area to make it look tighter (which'll fix the chubbyness).

He wears a belt, not a sash like Goku. There should be a knot and the hanging belt-ends at the front;




CrackerJack made the same mistake on his Krillin.

I dont think its a mistake Dust, its just what are u suposed to do with a belt thats just gonna stick out and clip into the legs/pelvis constantly =\, he left it out because there arent any sash bones for 1.2

I thought people added bones to the 1.2 skeleton for these things (i.e your SSJ3 Goku's hair or SSJ4's tail)?

Sure they can add stuff to the skele if they wanna edit some animations, but thats a hell of a lot more hassle than its worth. For a start animating from an smd is annoying as hell because you've lost all your keyframes.

oh? but the belt itself wont have any keyframes on it, since it isnt part of the original skeleton.

select "operate on selected bones only", then select the bones and clear all keyframes, this will delete the blank frames on the belt.

Doing this you can still edit the animation 5/10 frames at a time so long as you only edit the belt movement. its the exact same thing I did with your ssj3/4 goku models. Doing it frame by frame wouldtake ages =/.

Pffttt...I'm too lazy for that, so no dangly parts, just a sash for now, you wont notice it anyway...

I can't wait you big tease. From a back view it probably wouldnt matter sash or no sash, and really, a tiny eidt to his costume to suit game purposes is always welcome

I would just skin the belt on... Have the belt run blue down his pant leg

I was working on a rough skin last night and the skin I had resembeled Darksuns, atleast in the layout.



I was pissed cause I had been working awhile on it and it was lookin ugly and too much like darksuns... I asked teknik here for help...haha, that got me somewhere alright...pffttt..
