Kingdom hearts Cool or not

I saw this new game for PS2, called Kingdom hearts. it's about this kid that fights all these dark things. This game is awesome because you allie yourselves with a whole bunch of Disney characters and such. ( you even see a cameo of cloud from ff) has anybody goten this game cuz it really looks sweet

Yes that game is very good. Theres massive bosses tons of enemies, a zelda like battle-system, and the Genie is in it.

Just got it, i like it alot, zelda style fighting, FF characters in it too.
I just don't like how you need to choose magic from a menu while fighting, takes to long, and if your hit while doing magic you stop, i wish it was like zelda using the yellow buttons as short-cuts, maybe R1 and R2? :yes: Good game!

its a very VERY VERY good game and just cause its got disny charaters doesnt make it dumb... cause i must admit there done in a very cool way

The zelda series uses a real-time battle system..
The FF series uses a turn-based battle system in most of the games...


I've heard Kingdom Hearts is a great game..
I, however, will not get it.

After being let down by Squaresoft with that whole FF10 fiasco, I refuse to feed the corporate machines of both Square AND Disney...not this time around anyway.

yeah thats what i thought, when they said battle system i thought they were talking about FF style, cause i dont consider real time a system.

Ditto cept insteado f 10. It was 8 and 9 that let me down and I haven't been very happy with Square afterwards.(I neverp layed 10 but if its like 8 or 9 I'll hate it)

How can you say that OWA?!?!? FF9 was a great game. FF8 was pretty good. It was great for an RPG. It just lacked some character development. Other than that it was a good RPG. FF10 was good to. It was really easy but it was still good.

From what I've seen of it (I don't own a PS or PS2), Kingdom Hearts looks absolutely great. I only wish it could have come to the Gamecube as well *shrug*

As far as the FF8/9/10 issue, I think 9 was an okay game. Some of the characters were annoying, but it was okay.

Did anyone else think Squall from FF8 was one of the whiniest *****es ever? Even if the game itself hadn't sucked, he still would have dragged it down.

I've only seen a bit of FF10, but it looks like another eye candy game to me... Lacking in substance. I need to grab my SNES when I come home from college next weekend and play through FF6 again. Sabin owns, y0.

unless you have played the game, dont knock it, FF games seems to be going down, FF7 has to be the best one yet, great story, not bad gfx consideing how old it is, and alot of extra stuff to do, all the other FF games after that have had a great story and gfx, that u will have alot of fun playing, but has no replay valve like FF7 with extras, theres only afew extras on it, that are easy to get, plus the game is abit too easy for my likeing, i never died on it...

FF7 was really the last "true" FF game, in my opinion. I didn't like Cloud much, and missed having 4 party members, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable game.

I have played some FF10, just not a lot. Sorry for not being clearer :cry:
