LOL, I think those rims from the refs will do, kingkai never really had a shop nearby to get that kind of stuff XD and I think it would at extra texturing, lol, but it's your model, it would still look great though, why not 19 inch?

I just found out that the max number of polygons is 3000??!!
is that corect??

cause the car is about 70% done and it has 12.000 :(

Is there any tool, like, oposite to Directx mesh tools??

Between 2,500 and 3,000 if I remember correctly.

Can you post a screenshot and a wireframe screenshot of it?

I didn't know about the limit, so I acted retarded and used Mesh tools:d

I'm waiting for crits and advices

That is way too many polygons. Way, waaayyy to many. You can get the same amount of detail with so much less vertices and faces it isn't even funny.

Wow... I'm not very good at modeling, but I can tell that is way too many... way, way too many like what SA_Gohan said. Flat surfaces don't need that many polygons even though it's hard to make out what part of the car is a flat surface. It might look good but it's going to lag like there was no tomorrow.

Seriously. There's no reason to have that many faces. That's just insane.

I'm not trying to be rude, but start over. There's no use even trying to salvage that.

yeh remove 2 faces, and its optimal! xD

dude you rock! never saw something like for a long while, last i saw was jp?s model xD lmao you both rock.

keep it up =P once you will get the rid of making a car in less then 1k tris.

lol directx meshes are mainly only used for games or else, lithunwrap3d (called now ultimate unwrap3d) uses directx meshes , otherwise i got a very small viewer coded by my friend though, its not that optional...

Yeah, try and get about 1500-2000 polys, lol, otherwise the map with that model might lag a little too much, don't get me wrong that looked REALLY nice, but just go a bit down when it comes to detail, not everything needs to be added.

Oh and have you started again on it yet? well good luck this time and keep an eye on that poly count ^^
