Since I can't play online and lot's of other problems on my cpu how do I wipe the computer completely to how I first got it ?

Well if you understand me I'd appreciate the help but if you don't understand just tell me so I can elaborate on it more (ill try lol)

the best windows for games are: windows 98 2nd edition and windows ME

Create a boot disk then load it up then type:-
Format/q C:
Then instal WinXP!
Win XP is actually very stable, and allow you do get degraded proformance in WinXP that is now miniscule and i would rather have a stable platform for gaming rather than an unstable one with a few extra FPS.

Uh.... NEVER, EVER, EVER format while in windows. It will srew up bigtime. Always get in a dos modus or true dos. NEVER dos prompt. k buddy?

Now indeed make a boot disk of DOS. If you can't well, WinDOS is ok as long as you are IN THAT DOS. You just make a bootdisk.

Go to system tools, software and make a bootdisk there. Then reboot. Format with indeed C:\format C:

Afetr this it should be ready for install. ;)

:S dont say things u dont know anything about dudeman

WinXP is better for games in the long run, updates for games and for ME/98 will become less and less, so if u have XP, USE IT

i have duel boot so im useing XP and ME, but if u dont know how to make a duel boot dont mess with it, since it can go wrong.

id like to have duel boot but id wanna access the same files on each but cus ones FAT32 and the others errr NT somethin i think that makes it imposible. I know XP can make them FAT32 as well but from what ive heard that makes it basically like ME as in instability and all

it does not make it that hard, it depends on what your trying to run, if its pictures and txt files etc they will still work, but some games will ***** at you.
