From Geek.Kon in Madison. Took the award for "best props" in the masquerade compettition. Props were the mask, the medical kit, the cravat pin, the goggles, and watch, hat pin. Not pictured: LED Device and glowing test tube. Took a lot of work on and off over a few months. As for what I created versus bought: The vest is fully faced and lined. The goggles are leather mounted on welding goggles (structurally riveted) and use a ton of random pieces The watch was purchased, but I did all the chain work. The hat pin is pretty simple gears painted and assembled. The cravat is a simple inverted rectangle sewing job. The cravat pin is my RN pin with chain and a gear. The mask is plaster strips formed to my face. I did a lot of surfacing, cutting, and sanding to get it the way it is. It's tied on with a nice satin inverted rectangle. The medical kit is an inverted rectangle. The leather straps are riveted on. The kit was dyed with tea and coffee to give an uneven stain. Images, go!
