wikipedia said:
Samatarou Kamiyama is the son of God and must live in the human world with his family to learn about them, in order to become a better god when the time comes to succeed his father. His closest friend is Tenko, Samatarou's guardian angel since birth. One day he falls for Kumiko Komori, a girl who just transferred to their school, and decides to win her heart without relying on any of his relatives' godly powers, oblivious to the fact that Tenko herself has a crush on him.

Going to start this soon. Haven't really heard about it. Just decided to get it since it was being subbed by some guys who're also dubbing Dragon Ball.
I wanted to know if anyone has already seen it. And if its ecchi or something?

Not to turn this into a Dragon Ball thread, but really, after watching the first DB episode subbed, it makes me want to watch all DB and DBZ this way. Not GT though, GT sucks in all languages, angles and viewpoints. There's something to be said about pink haired, bare chested dudes with bad hair cuts that adding lethal beams and powerlevels that are obviously higher than 9000 won't fix. And I aint talking about viagra.

I watched it few months ago, it was a okay series. Nothing magnificently great in the series, but it wasnt that bad either. It could have been a bit better. Oh yeah, and it doesnt really have that much ecchi in it as far as i remember. Atleast not enough to call it a Ecchi anime...
But the demons looked cool at the end...
But if you want to see ecchi in anime, i recommend Zero no Tsukaima and the sequel for it (Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsu no Kishi). That was a great anime...

The anime is ok, nothing great. Gets retarded in the end imo but people have different tastes. If your into the romance animes i suggest you try this site it has reviews ect.

Even the stuff in ZnT wasn't that ecchi, save for the huge amounts of fanservice toward the end of the second season. I'd think to call an anime ecchi, that'd have to be the main point, not random points in the middle of an action oriented one.

I found DB and DBZ more interesting as I matured. Mostly everyone has watched DBZ as a child.

Only paying full attention to the fighting and action. The thing I like the most about the Dragon Ball series, is the character development, and how the voices change and get deeper.

If you actually listen to Goku's words while he is fighting against Frieza, it's almost like he's writing a poem. I never knew that Goku even had that kind of vocabulary and articulation. Vegeta also make me laugh many times, when he's babbling on to Frieza about how strong he is, it's entertaining.

Also, when Vegeta stepped in on the scene, after Goku got demolished by Android 19, his speech was enlightening.

It's better to watch this series as an adult, there are some things that the average viewer misses when watching this anime.

Anyways, about this anime that you presented, I've been having a hard time trying to start watching a new anime, because currently I am watching Bleach, Naruto, and Claymore. I would have to say that I'm pretty phlegmatic towards different anime.

Well, there are hardly any animes that totally concentrate on Ecchi. Only ones i can remember at the moment is Green Green and Girls Bravo. But i have to say i dislike that kind of over-ecchiness... Even though now that i remember ZnT first season didnt have that much ecchi in it, i guess just finishing the second season kind of confused me...

I reccomend it, as someone who has recently purchased Madman's R4 DB sets, it's a fantastic show, and even steals Z's thunder on several occasions.

And I'd rather watch GT subbed than watch Z dubbed :S

I've watched DB... just the dubs though. The only dbz subs I've ever watched were Fusion Reborn and Dragonfist Explosion/ Wrath of the Dragon

Such as the effectiveness of a certain someone saying: "You're better than me Kakarot, you are the best."
