Today we put the spotlight on the newest team member, Layne, and shed some light on the <a href="http://forum.esforces.com/potw-8-30-09-t75327.html">teaser</a> that was shown last week!

Originally when Layne first got in contact with the ESF Team, we asked him to contribute his ROSAT (Room of Spirit and Time) map. He agreed to the request and edited the map as the team saw fit. Once the map was completed and put in game, we were extremely pleased with the results and the amount of detail and time Layne had put into the map.
Months later, Layne returned wanting to contribute to ESF again by offering to do Kami's Lookout. We once again allowed him to contribute after the hard work he put into ROSAT. As the week went by, Layne was interested in joining the team, so he applied as a mapper. After looking at his progress with Kami's Lookout, we decided to accept his application, but have him finish the map as his trial. Though Kami's Lookout wasn't completed yet, we let him join the team a week later due to how much dedication he has put into the map.
Despite the map not being completed yet, it has very unique features. A towering stairway that lies within the main tower, a wall with all of the development team's names on it, extremely detailed buildings, trees, and towers which are accurate to the anime, and a very unique looking skybox. Future additions to the map will include a terrain at the bottom of the Lookout, Korin's Tower, and a teleporter which will take you to Layne's other map, ROSAT. Also, a night version of the map is being worked on, so be on the lookout for screenshots of Kami Night!
