Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question already, but I want to ask it just in case I'm wrong. Does the memory from a computer still have personal info on it or could I sell it and not have to worry about the people finding my pron on it?

Thanks a bunch.

Memory (RAM) clears completely [beyond recovery] when you shut down/restart. HDDs are very resilient when it comes to older data. Generally when you delete something from them, the data itself isn't gone, just made ready to be rewritten over. It'd take several overlapping writes to completely remove any 'ghost' data.

So then it's safe to sell my old RAM without people having my personal files
