i started working at McDonalds, and now i have about 1000 shekels after a month of work(4.5 shekels are 1 dollar...u do the math :)). i work 2-3 times a week for 4-6 hours a shift (or however u write that...).

also i just started getting driving lessons (here in Israel u can start learning only once u have reached the age of 16.5 and u can get a driving lisence once u have reached 17), and on tuesday i had my first lesson!! today is my second....i already parked! in my first lesson!!! its the first time i have heard of a teacher that teaches how to park on the first lesson....and by park i mean in reverse...

i have to say that this is 1 of the best times i have ever had in my life!! to earn money on my own, to start driving, it just feels so gr8!!

just wanted to share it with u... if u would like u can share something good that happened to you.

I saw a dog, oh and some unimportant things like preventing the death of the president, stopping world war 15 in the far future and saving a drowning baby, oh and I discoverd life on Mars. But the dog was the important thing.:)

I know what you're saying, I started working in the meat department at No Frills about 7 months ago, and you definately get more freedom cause you have more money, and I have my license too, so its all good.

Cool, ST. Can't wait 'til I get there, but I'm going to work at the Family Christian Store, not McDonalds. I can't stand McDonalds. So, now you have to tell us how many times they drop a burger or two. I've always wanted to know stuff like that. Hey! I'll be a reporter, and you'll be my "source", if you know what I mean. "Fast food in Isreal". Might make a good essay for school. I'm serious, too.

Try and keep the job, and I beat you to the driving part. I may not be legal age, but that doesn't stop me! I learned how to drive, park, and fill up a gas tank on my first lesson. Does your father teach you, or do you go to a school? Because I know technically the term "teacher" is used for public school teachers, but you may be verbally correct, and use the word for your literal teacher.

Are you nervous, scared, or calm? I've known a lot of people to freak out on first lessons.

Lets see, today I got up and went to work at Subway and made myself a DOUBLE MEAT MELT!!! it was good. Then I went home only to leave to another town 30 miles away and eat an Oreo McFlurry at McDonalds. Then I saw "The Hunted" at the movie theatre. Then back to home and here. That explains the good part.

The scary part? My girlfriend went to a vascular specialist in Denver yesterday. She called and told me today that she has a blood clot that needs to be dissolved and one of her ribs is pinching a vein. So after they get rid of the clot, they will either have to break the rib or remove it....

about the driving - first of all, only a sertified teacher can teach some1 to drive here.....my father cant teach me. second, i was quite good actually!! i learned how to park too on my first lesson, something which is considered being teached on the 4th lesson....or even a l8er lesson! every1 was surprised....
