is gmax dumb?

i dont understand... gmax i cant open mdl files
if you dont know how to do please tell another program than milkshape3 and gmax

you have to decompile the models (in milkshape or with a program called modeldec.exe or something) than it gives you .smd files that you can import in milkshape, and if you export it to .3ds you can open it in gmax

well, you cant get any model program for "free", you have to pay for them all ... milkshape is the cheapest tho
