I think a Poll needs to be posted on this topic.

And the iPod has been out for a good 5 years, The Zune only several months. Of course its not going to shake its dominance over night.
Just like the Xbox didnt shake PS2's Dominance over night.
(Now they are PWNING with the 360 at the moment).

Still, My favorite MP3 player of all time is my Laptop.
Huge screen, Handles games, Awesome sound quality when Connected to the car stereo system, Or my home theater system, Downside is it doesnt fit in my pocket.
Battery life 2 hours while playing a game, Boosts to 4 hours playing an MP3

iPod is craptastic.

Zen is Sicktastic.

Zune is Provingtastic

Sandisk is Cheaptastic

iRiver is Featuretastic

Lets see what the year holds in the MP3 market, The Zune will more than likely steal significant market share from the iPod. As Microsoft's budget can pay for alot of advertising...

Speaking of which, you can find firmware mods for a iRiver that allow you to play doom and a few other games. However, I really can't see myself playing doom on what is meant to be a media player because the controls would probably annoy me.
