DragonDude and Satan made some texures that need to be invisible. They changed the background to the blue (I think) but when I change the settings (Solid, 255) it doesn't show up invisible on Half-Life although it does in ESF, is there a reason why?

I'm certain I set them to the absolute blue color, and I have compiled maps with some of them before, and one side would be transparent and the other would remain blue. :S

the texture name needs to start with "{"
eg: {invisible
it should work if u do that.

2.go to wally name that file "example1" as a example

3.click on it and edit palette and change the bottom right to 255 index and 255 blue

4. go back to the wad name "example1"

*EDIT* BTW don't double post and if this works , thanks :) *EDIT*

Thanks man it worked, this should be either stickied or copied and pasted into that big thread, although I think DD did something on top of what you said but I'm not sure...

Nope, I did exactly what he said.
PhotoShop must not be able to create the perfect absolute blue color, either that or I didn't pick the color correctly. o_O
This should be stickified if possible, it could help more people in the future.
Thanks for the help, furia! :D

even if it wasnt absolute blue, you still should have had some transparency. oh well....if it works now, there is nothing to worry about
