Internet Connection

This sounds like a stupid question, but is there anyway you can sign up for a service that's not available in your area? Right now I have Earthlink as my ISP and Sprint (might be Embarq now) that provides the line. The only other available services in my area is satellite.

Generally speaking, Dial Up would be your only option for out of area connections, and the latency from doing so would be horrendous.
