Ok, this is really basic exercise in the book that I bought... Tought me how to create the objects in the scene with splines and a bit of poly modeling.

Some of the objects in this scene weren't created by my though. Just for times sake. Really easy though. (The guages, Control sticks and flashing light stuff...oh and the chairs stand thingy. Made the cushion using splines.)

All the materials and ect was made by me.

I learned:

To use Specific mapping coordinates.
How to properly use bumb maps and how they work.
How to apply more than one material per object and work decently with them...
How to make basic materials:
Metallic
Cloth.
And how to make decal materials.
How to do Self illiumination.
How to animate materials. (the balloon image on the screen is animated...)
How to use the new function in max that allows you to select objects by their MATERIAL.

That only the material section though.

Anyway, it took around 5-7 Hours. 3 Hours for the materials.

The lighting sux though heh. Mayby will work on that sometime.

So once again. I know the objects and everything are really basic but its just to learn the tools really.(not like the whole book is gonna be about using 1 tool to make 1 mean big thing lol)

FINALLY:

EDIT:Get my newest update from my latest post. =p

Seeing that there was already a lighting part in the book. Things are going to be interesting :p
