Hi all,

Just a small question for all you people who seem to know a lot about computers and even more about resources to get to know about computers. I want to buy a new computer and build it myself but I am not that much into the newest developments in the hardware area so I would like to know where you get your information from.

What sites do you use which give good reviews, benchmarks and comparisons. I have tried to Google but you get a lot of sites which turn out not be of any help so I hope you guys can give me some good reference points with quality information.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I get a PCStats email newsletter informing and comparing new hardware and software releases. The site itself has a lot of archived reviews and benchmarks. Check it out.

Seeing your dutch tweakers.net has every 2 months a great article about computers and what the best buy of the moment is.

www.maximumpc.com gives out good reviews.... and Im gonna beat Overlord to the punch and put www.theinquirer.net

That should be enough sites with good reviews for you . It's also worth spending some time on tech forums aswell.

My Vote is www.Anandtech.com - they seem to be rather reliable.
