Latest drawing. Feeling pretty proud about it to be honest. ^_^

Stuff in white below this sentence. :O

also the very, VERY first coloring I've done.

Chrono Trigger's characters were designed by Toriyama, so yeah. :p

Actually. it looks nothing like Toriyama's style, it's a different style, a different approach.

I like it, I like how it looks sketched out, and the blowing wind ravishing throughout Crono's attire.

Good job.

I disagree, the hair style, eye shape, clothes form/folds are all toroyama's.

Maybe you're just used to the free/casual/shirt look they have in dbz or in blue dragon.

edit: The shading is great for your 1st coloring, I say that cuz there are some white spots along the lines.

It looks nice.

You could have done the facial expression a little differently though (eyebrow and eye positioning ).
Also, i personally would've used a little darker colors for shadowing.

Good job, i say.

Ah, you used that pic from Deviant Art as reference? Looks pretty cool. It's okay to copy for practice, but you have to be more original sometimes ;) Keep it up.

Yeah I used my own colours though, the pics on the reference were like.. REALLY bright. Not my taste. :p

And pretty much everything I draw has a reference pic, I can't draw well enough to not use one. :p

Did everyone's favourite mage from CT (reference from official CT art) :O

And the colors I used;

EDIT: And yes, I did remove the stupid keychain from his scythe. Who has a keychain on his scythe anyway?

Very good for your first colorings. To have some actual critique in this post:
I'd use the pen tool to create masks from the outlines, so you get rid of the colors outside the lines/the white spots inside the lines.
It would give them a much cleaner look.

I 2nd that =o.

The real drawing begins when you can draw from the head >=]. It's a higher belt to wear as a Martial Pencil/photoshop Artist.!~

It's easier then u think =], it just takes actual thinking =p

-still looks good tho

Crits:

I duno since art is free and it depends on what you were trying to do =O.
