I don't know if it's the safest one, but I prefer Firefox because of its high customizability in both skins and plugins.

I'd say Firefox, for the simple reason that I've had very little problems with spyware etc since I started using it. I also prefer the interface, feels more responsive that IE for some reason.

I tried out firefox a long time ago, and loved the tabbed browsing. And I still use it today, because I still love teh tabbed browsing. :p

Firefox. I have a portable version which I carry around on my keyring thumbdrive, so I have Firefox with all my bookmarks and preferences with me on any computer.

Firefox. It's waay faster than IE.
*edit* I think you should add an "other" for those who use dial up like AOL or something.

Firefox. Also you should add like Opera or something. Other browsers that people might use.

@Kasey. AOL's browser is IE.

AOL's browser is AOL o_O. And it sucks.

FireFox is pretty damn good.
