i need help when add chars for esf

i have ecx rc2
big pack 8.4 and ive downloaded alot of packs and when i extract the file into esf the game doesnt load
plz help

We need some more information from you. Using legal version of Half-Life? Using Steam? Got a valid CD-Key? Using v1.2.3 with ECX RC2? Extracted the files correctly? Does ESF works without ECX RC2?

Did you download character packs or just models? As in did they have AMXX files or not.

yes Using v1.2.3 with ECX RC2 it works with out ECX RC2
yea i downloaded packs and the do have AMXX files

No wonder your game doesnt work, as said on the Home page, ESF is a Half-Life mod.

You need to get Half-Life (not Source) and download ESF, ECX RC2 and if you want GT material you can download Big Pack.

Also you should check the console if your game doesnt start.

And BTW, after you install ESF, ECX RC 2 and Big Pack, you shouldnt download more add-ons. After you install Big Pack, it usually almost reach the limit of 512 models. That may also be your problem.
