well for the most aprt makign a backround for a sig is easy just mess around with filters,i'm serious, for example, if u pick a light grean as your main bg color then go to filter:texture:patchwork then filter:texture:mosaic tile then filter:stylize:glowing edges b00m u got a matrix kinda look, just keep messing w/ filters and youll catch on

hmm i have a question-

How do you cut out a picture and put it inside another like for instance if you wanted to put a picture of goku on another bg how would you do that.
I thought it was layer via cut and then merge layers but it didnt work

nah, just use magic wand tool, but i mostly recomment polygonic lasso tool.
then select ctrl-C go to the destenation pic, hit ctrl-V and voila, ready to go.

you could blend them, or simply just make a new window and put the opther layer in it then move it to the first layer's window,simple

just click all layers, and click on arrow on side of layer bar and select merge linked ;)

Where do you get all the really good backgrounds.

I mean I like the subject, but the backgrounds are totally mad.

Bear in mind I have photoshop 5

Yeh, that's great, but I just realized I have Paint Shop Pro.... is that any good?
