i have a problem

ok i have a problem u see i entered this paint contest and i finished my drawing and all i went to village photos to sign up so i could upload my pic but it says the pic is too big wen its only 649kb so wat should i do?

Get Photoshop, if you cant do that then save it as a JPEG, if its still too big then try a GIF lol. BMPs usually come in that size. If its STILL to big after JPEG, then resize it to be smaller, the smaller it is, the smaller the file size will be.

i dont have photoshop i only have corel and paint

Like I said try changing the format. Is it BMP? If so save it as JPEG, it will greatly reduce the size of it. also if Corel paint is good at all, it should have a Resize function, try resizing it to something like 640x480 or something if its 1078x876 or whatever that rez is.

um yeh its a bitnap and well i think the resolution is like 400x500 and wat program should i use to save it as a jpeg

I use painshop pro but I do not know if it has a resize function!
