ok my idea is MAKE A GAME THT WORKS ON XP AND ONE WHERE WE CAN GET IT AND PLAY WITH OUT HAVE 2 DL A LOAD OF FILES FIRST;(

Dude, this game does work for XP. And by the way... game? If the team makes a game out of this, FUNimation will probably sue their behinds... and maybe Valve also.
The only way they would make a game out of ESF would be to get clearance from both FUNi and Valve (unless they change engine)... And this my friend, will most probably not happen.

I am running XP and the game works fine.
And what load of files did you have to download? I downloaded the bots and the actual mod. If you are talking about file size that is completely unavoidable. The could use a different compression method but that would only cut down the size a little bit.
