HTML, Site junk.

Well I'm gonan be making my site in Dreamweaver, I just have some questions.

What is php? Is it better then html? I have a choice should I use php or somthign else *explain what it is*?

php is a server-side scripting/programming language, u can't compare it with HTML.. everything what you "make" with php is working "behind the scenes" and the output is HTML..

PHP is more complicated then HTML, and u cant learn it in a sec.. so if u were you i should use HTML

What he said. But usually only pay-servers let you have PHP. I promise you that you cant find a PHP-supporting server in less than a hour

yes I can lycos.co.uk. they have php and mysql support, 50 mb of space and my own ftp acocutn for free.
