Ok so I built a site in html using dreamweaver. But when I want to send the site to a friend to check it out the pictures don't appear for him, I don't want to host the site on the internet so is there anyway to compact all the pages,pictures and stuff into just one file that can be viewed?

Winrar, Winzip or 7zip.

You don't get it, if I .rar or .zip them then he still wouldn't be able to see the pictures cuz he'd have to set all the picture paths again, since the page is gonna display "picture not found" even tough it is on his computer.

That's an easy fix.

Create a new folder in your C drive, throw all the files in there, retype the picture paths, rar/zip it, send it to your friend and tell him to extract the contents to his C drive (assuming he has a C drive).

Your friend does not see the pictures because the pictures either need to be on his computer as well, or the pictures need to be uploaded on the internet.

You can take out the path in the code like, C:\Users\someone\Pictures\picture.jpg and keep the code to simply
<img src="picture.jpg">

Using that code with just picture.jpg would require the picture to be in the same folder as the .html file.

Or you can upload it to the internet and you wouldn't need to send him the pictures at all, you would just have to put in the link to the picture.
So it will look something like:
<img src="http://something.com/picture.jpg">

Some free easy places to upload pictures are:

Thanks MC.
@Renyori He wasn't able to see them cuz he didn't have them, thats why I asked for a way to put them all in just one file and not have to carry all the pictures with the main source code.
But great idea anyway with the uploading.

I know, the first solution makes it easier so you don't have to tell your friend to put it in a specific folder path in C: or whatever. He can just extract the files to any folder on his computer (Like C:\downloads\stuff ) and it will work as long as they're all in the same folder, no path changing in the html code required.
