how to make maps?

i just got esf and i want to make a map how do i make maps?

Go to www.Valve-erc.com for tutorials on mapping.

You will need Worldcraft or a similar mapping program to make the maps.

I strongly suggest getting Zoner's HL tools and his compilers and the front end for them.

This one comes up enough. (floop) Look's nice up top!

I'll point you in the direction of one of my friends..he's pretty good with the program.

His stuff isn't widely known..but's he's a pretty good mapper.

Its great that there is a online helpsite for WC cause 3.3 has no help and 2.0 to little. Very basic.

If you don't want to use tutorials, just mess with it a bit, it isn't hard to figure out.

The basic ones not no. BASIC ones. The more advanced funcs ARE hard toget without it.

This is the official one and has lotsa info and a forum for the stuff not on the site. I visited the forum with 2 probs and got answers for both.

3.3 has none but if ya REALLY want a tutorial then install 2.0 from your HL CD. It HAS a tutorial in it cause the site wasn't there then.

Before compiling upgrade back to 3.3 or higher.

In my opinion it was a mistake to get the tutorial outta the new ones.
