This seems to fit them well. None of these character's accessories actually contain any real use. It's one thing to make a sophisticated outfit, but if it is so, everything needs to have a use.

Akira's character creation style is nothing like this, excluding the hair similarities.

If all else fails, add more zippers and belts. You can never have too many. Maybe that's why you have a seemingly infinite inventory in the FF games?
