How i install ESF

Where does i install esf in steam???

Must half life install in steam before???
i have installes ESF in the folder from half life but half life is in a another order than steam. So esf started wih half life AND IT ISNT RUNNING i cant create a lan game and i cant play in internet. i must download a newest version but this version are not foun... waht shoul i do???

1.have a legal copy of half-life and get steam
2.let steam download half-life , click on browse games and go to register a game i already own , enter your cd-key and let steam do the rest
3.after that , run the half-life hazard course
4.obtain an esf installer (1.2.3 full installer , or if you are using an older installer then just run that and patch esf in order of ascending , 1.2.1 > 1.2.2 > 1.2.3. all of them must be installed in the right order , you can't just skip the 1.2.2 installation and expect to be fully up to date as the 1.2.2 patch has a client dll change in it) if you have already played hl , then just run half-life and then exit it and then run the installer(s)

now you should be able to play esf
