Enjoy the scenery when you can fly very afraid of the fighting because half of the map and hit the map there is no maximum limit but the other games this feature

And do what. Travel for 20 minutes so you can be killed in 5 and do the whole thing over again in a 1 hour match?

Hey, don't knock it til you try it, it's like that in every PC Battlefield game except Bad Company, and for some reason people LOVE IT.

Is it possible to make the attacks to take less damage and to make higher HP or something like that?
That way you should be fighting for at lest 20 mins..... ?

That way you should be fighting for at lest 20 mins..... ?
And that would get you where. Fighting for 20 minutes just so that someone else can steal that kill away from you. Congrats he just got an easy 2 points off you who are badly hurt and the guy you were fighting.

You need to look at things from all angles.

I have a question.

If the mapper wanted, can he make a somewhat linear map with AI bots in it and allow people to play cooperatively? For example in a long cave or something like that.

Not really no. As the bots act like players.
What if someone made generic henchmen models? And they use it in place of other random models. Like you said, they'll have normal bot AI right? You could also have dino's and other mobs in there.

Animals are different than bots. and what he was suggesting was like a teleport system all round the map.

haha, well that type of spawn concept is VERY possible. We could probably bring that up in a meeting sometime. Have the players spawn near the battle instead of across the map.

That does seem like a good idea however.

For that we would require to rewrite the spawn protocols. And i dont think our coders are really willing to go that far ^^;

In that case we might as well just say screw this engine and make something ourselves from scratch.

Besides the bigger the map, the lower the quality can be.

No invulnerability. We kept all the animations that end in a deadlock shorter than 4 seconds, so there is no need for it.

I can imagine beam spammers being even more of a problem. Hmm...

I wonder if you could add a command to disable beams, to have some Melee only servers? I like both, but sometimes I just wanna melee and beam spammers piss me off.
