I don't think those were the Holiday Sales. I think the Holiday Sales are usually two weeks before christmas.

They definitely were, thanks to US Thanksgiving. That's why there was an irregularly high number of Steam sales from Wednesday onward (or was it Thursday onward)?

It was a great opportunity to pick up some Indie titles I was interested in, too. Those $5 Indie packs were all very tempting, as were a number of the other deals.
