HL2 PC Zone Uk Review gives it 97%

PC Zone have just reviewed HL2 and has given it a 97%. there highest score ever more details at www.Halflife2.net . so the RC that valve handed in must of got the Thumbs up.

Occasionally new products are given to reviewers prior to public release simply for review purposes. THis is for everything from games, to movies, to...well..everything.

More importantly, it's strange how they can review something before it's even gone gold...
To my knowledge they gave the reviewers the same RC that they sent to Vivendi, meaning that technically it might not be the same build we end up installing on our PC's. I doubt it's going to make any difference though.

Half-Life 2 is going to be amazing. I don't care how many times it gets leaked, or pushed back, I'm patient enough to wait for it to come out. I'm not suprised at all that it got an extremely high rating, I'm confident that it'll be one of the best games ever made... EVER. Don't badmouth Alpha Centauri, that was a cool game.

Bah, now that my minds clear, I see I worded my post completely wrong. I was trying to cleverly state that with valves record, I wouldn't be surprised if the game isn't anywhere near completion. Thus the review would be surprising.

I know, that doesn't make sense at all. When I posted that I was a little "spaced out" if you will. Just ignore it.
