I did kill him, but the moment he landed a prepunch it was over. You can not block 50+ arrows.

But yea other than that and random teleportation round the map, he didnt have much skill.

@Hlev letting hackers join servers is the price to have people on them?

Because people were leaving when he was in there.

I'm not gonna talk out of his mouth but I think he meant the price of having nonsteam is that hackers tend to join too ... and nonsteam = more players than steam.

Well there is more than one hacker, and they tend to change ip .. dynamic and not dynamic they tend to return after an IP ban ...

And as aforementioned there are a lot of them haha... but it's funny to kick a hacker's ass because of their unorthodox way of playing and aiming etc.

As a side note. It would actually help fill servers if they werent all locked 24/7 ^^

You can ban his Steam ID. For example "roFl" connects to the server with another IP address.
You can ban him with "rcon ban STEAM_0:0:33019130". ^_^
They have a valve id which is your ip as well I think?

Infinite size as far as I know. But the creator of the map can limit it with a red shield (cube) around the map which is very similar to the Budokai map limit on the xbox, playstation and wii games. I know there has been an image posted with an example but I just can't find it.

They are limited by the polygon count and number of materials used.

As in go overboard and itll lag the **** out of the game. Also a border needs to be placed in order to avoid beams blowing up in your face.

Now I don't know what that even means.. but iirc the map format is not bsp... it differs from the default engine maps.

Would that mean that a map with little detail would be significantly bigger than a map with more details?

Eg rosat being much larger than esf_city?

They would be as large as the mapper makes them.

Mind you that maps that are to big are a bad thing with HLs spawning system.

Also sorry. I didnt notice i accidentally hit edit post instead of quote :(
