I mean really. I've seen much worse (or more to the point, more pointless) threads than that gift from god thread. To take an example, what about the infinite love and hate threads? Not that I have anything against them, but I don't see they have much more point than that one. Or an infinite number of other threads on the forum.

Or is the pointlessness of a thread measured by who posted it?

I can assure you Deverz closed it all in good reason, he isn't biased, if you have a problem with a moderator's decsion, it is best to PM other admins about it, or state it to the moderator direcly via PM, to clear things up.
